Student Discount for V3?

I recently got a GTX1060 and the v1.20 is not compatible with it. I tried the V3 demo and it worked.
Therefore I'm looking to purchase a V3 license.
On a previous post, a staff said:

We will be working a new system for edu licences once V3 is released, including an affordable way for students to use 3.x going forward.
