Hi All,
I have a reasonably simple scene to render where I am using the Stage object in C4D to switch between camera angles so it can all render it all in one go.
The problem I am having though is that some camera angles are wide and some are close ups, requiring different Z-depth Max values to get a proper Z-depth pass. There doesn't seem to be a way to key frame or set different Z-depth max values for each individual camera. As it is I will have to render each camera angle individually just to adjust the Z-depth max. Am I missing something here as it seems that the Stage feature in C4D is pretty much redundant for rendering because of this?
Thanks,
R
Varying DOF settings with Stage object
Render settings parameters are working with takes. How do you know that doesn't? There's an update issue of sliders if you switch from take list. But it updates if you select from render settings.

Thanks aoktar, I think I may have overlooked the obvious here, looks like you can actually keyframe the Z-depth max in render settings. Sorry for the silly question.
both are possible.
