Trying to make a nice wireframe render which I can overlay in photoshop but there doesnt seem many controls for the output. Firstly I want the color to be just white but it seems to have some shading on it. Also is there any way to control the width of the lines?

Here is what I have so far as a render.

Thanks :)

Hi MichaelYpes,
the info channels passes, like wireframe, are designed as checking and compositing helper passes. The wireframe pass has a special option for spotting the flipped polygons by coloring them in red. They comes from Standalone where you don't have a OpenGL viewport, and sometimes a visual feedback is useful.

Thanks bepe

So not really used as a render for production uses? What would you use then instead to create a wireframe render or would you use another renderer? I know about the dirt material but not what I am looking for as I want the structure of the objects.

Hi MichaelYpes,
look at this interesting technique:

You can use the clay colored mode for fast rendering, and if you don't need the shading, you can use the texture also in the emission node with cast illumination deselected.

For simple geometry like your example I use an atom array with small radius of zylinder and sphere. A dull black or white color with a bit emission does the job.
