I've noticed that the opensubdiv options for Octane for Blender don't use the mesh's edge creases. Is this a bug? I would expect the the edge creasing to be respected.

Looking over in the Maya plugin forum. It looks like the users there reported the same problem but never got a response from the developer. So now I wonder. Will this be a supported feature?

Now you have it. I've implemented this in 11.3.

Thanks, jimstar, I might be doing something wrong but a crease value of 1 does not create a sharp crease with octane subdivision.

Yep. Definitely not working right.

So maybe the best workaround for this would be for Octane to use the render subdiv value in the subdiv modifier rather than viewport value.
