Does anybody know the performance of a gtx 1070 compared to 1080 or with 980 ti/ titan x(2015)...or some kind of benchmark ?

The first CUDA benchmarks look quite promising for the 1070. I think a number of people are waiting to see if the 1070 really can outperform the 980ti, which would make it quite a good value. Here is a link to the new results from Geekbench 4, which, for the first time, includes GPU compute performance.

WoW! The GTX 1070 can be a really good solution! For someone who can deal with a "big" amount of cards... Yes cause sometimes, it's worth paying more for a less powerful card to save space on hardware and not investing in a multi gpu support solution.
