I tried to instal this last version and C4D R17 doesn't fint octane plugin at startup.
No problem with previous version.
Do you know why ?

Yes that's the tool I'm referring to. I have been talking back and forth with Kent the developer and what the two of you have already made possible is amazing. I've been trying combine textures in the Mix material, but displacement doesn't show up, even if I just add a single bitmap. I'm using the Mix material 'Use displacement' setting, checked on, with the Octane displacement shader, but no result.
Displacement works on the separate materials as normal.

Pitty it's R17 or newer only....
Ahmet, does it take a lot of extra work supporting the older versions? (Trying to understand why the plugin mentioned only supports R17 or newer).

older than R13 on Windows and older of R15 on osx is nearly impossible for me. Adding TFD and etc connections caused lot of new problems on builds. Also there's some unsupported features and changes on every C4D SDK. Also I'll start an octane connection library as a bridge for 3rd party plugins. My hope to give some access and allow write their support for our octane plugin

Okay. I just tried it again and now I'm getting displacement.
