Hi!
I can't get it to work, is it supported, and if so, how does it work?
I tried to add an image texture to the diffuse, and in the image texture I added the first frame of the sequence, but somehow it doesn't seem to calculate the rest of the sequence.
add an image sequence (animation) as a image texture?

Xbitmap(C4D) and imagetexture(Octane) supports this. You need to manually set ranges in imagetextureErxxi wrote:Hi!

I manually set the range of image sequence, but still have no effect using octane imagetexture shader. An example would be nice.aoktar wrote:Xbitmap(C4D) and imagetexture(Octane) supports this. You need to manually set ranges in imagetextureErxxi wrote:Hi!

apologies for the bump.
This feature isn't working for me either - hasn't for a long time.
I'm using a .bmp sequence, ive named all of the frames accordingly, ive set the frames in octane properly (i assume), yet it still doesn't work. I've attached a screenshot of my material settings - there's only 47 frames in the sequence. It's supposed to be flashing police lights.
Thanks for any help.

It should work fine on latest builds. Which version? How is file names? Where they are stored? Be sure you don't have a image as first frame in tex folder or searchable folders.jabbathekid wrote:apologies for the bump.

Please go with latest builds always. Especially when have issues.
Also don't use just numbers in file names.

COuld be the numbers in the filename. I always use JPG or PNG sequences and works fine
