Hi all,
does anyone have any tips for a setup to create headlights that render like this?
I have a model of this car, and I can get the IOR pretty close to what shows here. I've added a single polygon inside the bulb with a texture emission, but I end up with tons of fireflies.

Any advice or tutorial would be great.
Thanks!!

Hi niestudio,
a workaround is to leave the poly emitter inside the bulb, but untick the "Cast illumination" option. Than create a poly just outside the bulb invisible for the real illumination.
You can also add a bit of emission to the glass with a scatter medium in the specular material.

Hi Beppe,
Thank you for the reply.
Yes the cast illumination off did help some, but I think I'm missing something with the polygon in front of the bulb to do the illumination.
Even after unchecking camera visibility, the poly is reflected right back onto the bulb.

Thanks,
Daniel
