hi!
I recalled it was possible to create a material in standalone, and import the .orbx into a plugin for further usage
is there any real conformation on this?

Hi whersmy,
you can save a material in the LocalDB section from Standalone, in this way the material should be visible in the same LocalDB section also in the plugin.
In c4dOctane you can also import directly an .orbx material from the Live Viewer menù by clicking on File/Import Orbx: I guess that the other plugins have the same options
ciao beppe
