I guess it wont be absurd ask you to let us know if there is a new developer for maxplugin ?
Who he/she is and what is going on with max plugin nowadays. And more importantly what will happen in the next months. Will there be long pause or developer silence in the forum again(for adaptation purposes)
Is there any vague roadmap you can share with us?
Thanks,
Who is the new developer for max plugin?

Otoy could follow Corona render example: https://trello.com/b/EfPE4kPx/corona-road-map-3ds-max
Yeah. That's like an utopia. There were some issues about some or feature requests or roadmaps in past years in Octane development.thilima wrote:Otoy could follow Corona render example: https://trello.com/b/EfPE4kPx/corona-road-map-3ds-max
Where there were some roadmap promises made but honestly this forum is a bit harsh on the developers at the same time. So I think there is a bit of staying away from roadmaps. So as sadly to see it but it's against the nature of octane render IMO.

Hi,
It is true that there is a new full-time Max developer. Currently, he is getting to grips with the development process. We are currently looking to push our next stable builds to time it with the Full Release of CUDA 8.0 (the reason that 8.0 support remains in the test branches, is because the rendering core can only integrate the Release Candidate version of 8.0 right now). But the time this dependency is resolved, our new developer will make his first stable release. In the meantime, assistance is still being provided by Jimstar during this time.
Our new developer will likely introduce himself with the next build release at the latest.

kidding? another developer again? this is the third time that max plugin change developer, so how about stop any new feature and focus on how to get the old version(I mean the 1.9) compatiable to v2.25 engine? sorry for the tone, but I think everyone would happy if this big issue can be solved
