I have a simple house model exported from 3d Max 2011 and once placed into octane it gives me a weird display.
Please help and advise whether is the problem with graphic card or setup?

I believe that is a issue with your scenes scale.

Go to File -> OBJ Mesh Import preferences and check your units there. Setting the same units is the best bet.

octane works in meters, so you need to make sure you either export in meters, or adjust the import settings in the obj import preferences , as said above...
