Upgrading to 3.0 question

Hi guys,

I am wanting to upgrade to 3.0 for a new project but at the same time I am involved in a project started in 2.24 so I am curious if I make the upgrade mid project, if the render results in 3 for those project files will match what I already have, all else being equal?

Is it possible to run both versions simultaneously?

Hi Rev,
you can upgrade now but still work with v2 and install v3 when the project is finished.
Or you can have another c4d version installed with v3 to start testing, while working with v2 with the working project.
Or switch to v3 and take advantage of the new features...
In short, no problem, you can do whatever you want, is up to you
