Can you elaborate? Did you have to do anything specific to get them to work? I know OTOY has stated that they were waiting for nVidia to send out an update but it seemed even afterwards that people were still having issues.

I'm going to be buying a few cards here soon and I need to decide between 980Ti's or 1080s, so I want to know for certain that Pascal will work within Octane + 3dsmax.

In this thread OTOY states that Octane will work with Pascal but that it's only a release candidate that supports it.

So I guess now my question is when the next stable release will be released. Ball park estimates, are we looking at weeks or months?

Hi,

The integration of the stable CUDA 8.0 toolkit will be a straightforward task, and high-priority at that. Our information had that release time at some point this August. Searching the website, the Release Candidate is still the most current iteration of 8.0.

Actually doing what is needed on our end is a matter of days at most. We just need Nvidia to put out the full release of 8.0.
