I installed the photoshop plugin referred to in the in the standalone release notes, but I cannot seem to open the Multilayer EXR files properly.
The picture viewer shows all the layers, but in photoshop, all the layers are blank with the exception of the RGBA layer and a weird alpha channel layer

Any tips?

Daniel

Hi niestudio,
I gues that the issue comes from the fact that you are using the multipass saving option of c4d. You have to use the saving options in the Render Passes section of the OctaneRender settings:

Then you could run the command in File/Automate/Setup OctaneRender Render layers.. to automatically grouping all the different layers in the correct order.
Anyway I think that there is an issue with EXR multilayer output, so is better to use PSD file format for now
I'll keep you informed.

Thanks Beppe,
I can get multilayer psd w/o issue, I was trying to utilize the exr plugin. I'll wait for an update then.

Thanks,
Daniel
