Morning Everyone,

I wanted to reach out and see how people have got Octane Render to recognize the new geforce 1080s. I have two installed and Can't seem to work around the issue. If anyone can pass on some wisdom, I would greatly appreciate it.

Cheers,

Are you running OctaneRender 3?
I think I have read on the forum that Pascal works from v3, not v2.

Edited: in the meanwhile I have browsed the forum and it look like you need version v3.03.2 and above for Pascal.

That's right - 3.03+ needed. Run clean install of nvidia driver when inserting the second card BTW.

Smicha,

Clean install - Like uninstall all the drivers and then install again for both or just one? Using Guru3D?

Furthermore, I got the v3 but can't find the folder to paste in the C4D plugin's folder. I have the Octane render installed and the standalone works but am I missing something for the plugin to show in C4D.

Thanks again for the help guys.

Cheers,

Cheers,

Clean install is the option when installing nvidia driver.
As for C4D - ask in the plugin topic for further help.

I do not know about the c4d plugin, so cannot help you there.
So, you got the standalone... also make sure the plugin is based on v3.03.2+.
Good luck with getting the plugin working

I think you missed installation notes. Please check readme.txt in archive.
