My office currently uses two of these: http://www.qct.io/Product/Storage/Stora ... 71c150c156 as render nodes for after effects and C4D. Currently they do not have GPUs, but the need has become apparent for several plugins inside after effects. Are there any decent half height GPUs that would be beneficial for octane also? My workstation has 4x 980ti, and the nodes are connected with 10Gbe. Will adding something like a 750ti just bottleneck my workstation GPUs?

If you don't want to lose VRAM you shall not mix 6GB card (980 Ti) with 750Ti.

As for speed - 750 TI scores 35, 980Ti scores 140 - 4x more. So there is little to no sense to add 750Ti to 4x980 Ti (35/560=6% increase of speed).

Not sure I understand - do you want to speed up render times?
