Ok.

First off, Poser (10/11)/Octane has worked beautifully and flawlessly for the last couple of years. Kudos.

In May I went overseas on a business trip for about 6 weeks, retuning last Monday.

I noticed on the forums, there was an update to the plugin – cool I thought, so naturally I d/l’d it and installed it. And now, of course, Octane and/or the plugin seemingly doesn’t know who I am and won’t let me in. What gives?

So bottom line is all I want to do is render, not read post after post on multiple threads and possibly multiple forums to try and solve this.

So can someone quick and easy tell me what I need to do to get back to rendering again? Please?

I will ask Otoy to take a look.

Does Octane Standalone 3.02 standalone authenticate for you?

Also - if you go into your Licenses page at the Otoy website, does it show both Octane Standalone and OctaneRender for Poser licenses for Octane3?

Hi there,

I've checked your account and you just have Octane 2 licenses.

In order to use Octane 3 you nee to purchase a standalone+plugin upgrade bundle for what there are currently deals for existing users.

Please check here.

If there's been an error please let us know.

Best.

Problem solved and it was all my fault. Everything is working just as smoothly as before I left last May.

Thanks for all the help.

Concerns, concerns

Why is the Decativate Grayed out on my main machine

I need to have an ungrayed Deactivate button so that I can deactivate main machine to use laptop machine away from main machine
Makes no instance to me why the button is grayed. What procedure must be done to UNGRAY that box so that this physically ACTIVATED machine can be physically and appropriately DEACTIVATED for a PROPER cause.

please explain
