Hi, I want to run slave daemon on my third computer, I enter my username, but I can't enter my password , nothing I type is taken in account.
Please help

The interface is waiting for the password ( an underscore is flashing ) but I can't enter a single letter.

It is perhaps my fault as on this computer I forgot to open Octane standalone at first, before trying slave daemond....
so I closed deamond (which can't make authentification) and opend standalone where I have been able to enter my codes.

I just wanted to add - I had the same issue when trying to run a slave node with Octane 2025.4. The terminal let me put in my username, but when it asked for password it wouldn't accept an input (even though the cursor was flashing) - a very strange error. I solved it by installing Standalone and putting in credentials there (as was suggested by an earlier post). I just wanted to make you aware that this isn't an isolated issue

The password you type won’t appear, but it’s being entered, just type your password and press Enter.
