Hello everybody.
I don't understand why but, after the new update 3.03.2-r5 in cinema 4d r15, I can't see my populate object with carbon scatter pro 2015 in the live viewer. Everything is good with the final render.
Can you help me ?
Thank you and sorry for my english.

Plugin recieved an update about sending geometry data to LV. Used method changed and improved for performance. Creating a temporary scene that's deprecated. So anymore LV only use data what you see in viewport. CS is having a virtual mesh method which is not available for viewport. That's the reason why you don't see it anymore.

Thank you for you'r reply. Do you know if Forester working on the octane live viewer?
Yeah, works great. Forester is a newish plugin, so there are a few things that need fixing, but I love it. Its cloner works nicely for any geometry, not just plants. I researched Carbon Scatter before getting Forester and I couldn't shake the idea that Carbon Scatter is old and Forester is new. Speedy email tech support for Forester within hours. And far more features. When I asked questions about Carbon Scatter, I got an email back weeks later. There's no demo version of Forester, last I checked, so if you want it you just have to buy it.
Also take a look to Octane Scatter object for making forests,etc.. It's fastest option for our plugin.

Thank you mbutler2 for you'r reply, it's very interesting for my workflow. It's really, octane scatter it's the fastest option to duplicate object, but, i'm juste limited to influence painter in c4d for duplicate where i want....
That's why i used carbon scatter... But now, if i can't see it in my live viewer it will be a bad solution.

Scatter supports the image or vertex weights for distributing objects.cmittenaere wrote:Thank you mbutler2 for you'r reply, it's very interesting for my workflow. Octane Scatter is pretty great. I do wish that it had variable density though. Last I checked, scattered objects fall off from a density of 100% immediately to a density of 0%. I couldn't get it to taper off density in between, just drops to zero. Also, with Forester you get a lot more options, like populate on slope or altitude, level of detail for distance from camera. So I usually end up using X-Particles or Forester or regular cloner.
