Hi - I have been trying the last few days to demo Octane on my new rig (before buying a full version). The cards show up but it is failing to find any Cudas?

Hi rockaFORCE,
please, could you try with the standalone v3.03.2 demo to see if you have the same error message:
https://render.otoy.com/downloads/ce/a2 ... _2_win.zip
Which is your c4d version exactly?
Have you read the readme.txt file?
ciao beppe

That standalone version worked!
Supposedly the C4D Demo version I'm using is also version 3.03.2-R4, but doesn't load the cards?
I'm running the latest C4D - Studio R17.053
Do you think the full retail version of the C4D plugin would work the same as this standalone?

So - I ended up purchasing the full version and THAT version works great in C4D. Now the full standalone version doesn't see them - I'll have to take a closer look at that one?
It seems like a build over wrong SDK for R17-Win. It's fixed with new build.

Octane For Cinema 4D developer / 3d generalist

I'm seeing the same error on my system while running the following configuration:
Windows 7 (64bit), sp1
Nvidia 368.81 video driver
Softimage 2013
OctaneRender_demo_3_03_2_win
OctaneRender for Softimage_1.01_betaDemo
GTX Titan X gpu running the display and a GTX 1080 gpu installed for dedicated rendering.
I'm getting the following error upon starting any render:
CUDA device 0: Failed to find a CUDA binary matching compute model 6.1
CUDA device 0: Failed to find a CUDA binary matching compute model 5.2
In my efforts to troubleshoot this, I downloaded the standalone, "Octanebench" program. When I run the "_run_benchmark.bat", it brings up the interface with the Titan X selected and is able to complete the benchmark render tests. One important thing to note; I don't have an option to change the GPU selection to the GTX 1080 in this benchmark program.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
