How to SSS with node editor ?

Hello everyone
I'm currently working on a simple skin shader but I have no idea how to include SSS into the node editor.
Is there any ressource I can check to understand ?

And here is the simple node editor for my face map. It's just a simple glossy material with normal map

Hey dude !
Thanks but I don't really understand the node editor and I don't understand how you mix material, when I do my skin suddently become more darker

Basically I'd like to add SSS on my current skin but I have no idea how to do it

Hi omegear,

It's not possible to add SSS to a glossy material. Then, if you want reflexions (speculars) on a textured material AND SSS, you need at least use a MixMaterial with a Specular (or Diffuse) material and a Glossy material attached to it. It's not possible to play with SSS and a textured glossy material like a skin without using a MixMaterial... :roll:

Then, you should have a look to the manual and some tutorials about the nodes in Octane render. It's the root of this engine.
