Hi,
I would want a lightpath node in Octane as well. Blender Cycles, MODO render and a few other render engines have it to give artist more control over a scene.
Same for light linking to be able to choose what a light affects certain objects only.
Thanks
Lightpath node & light linking?

I had some discussion with devs about this. As i can remember that the renderer is not structured for a light linking. So this requires lot of revisions on design of that. And i know they are working on some re-design for osl integration. We'll see what can be possible with OSL.
