Perhaps you could look at it further when you have time? The solution you mention is fine, but if it is possible to use UV maps with individual names I'd love that as it makes everything smoother to set up.

Thanks for looking into the UV/Static Mesh issue. Unfortunately I still get missing textures in Octane with the build you just posted. Creating a simple cube with a diffuse color texture (default settings for everything) still renders without the texture in Octane, once converted to a static mesh.
