Hi Peeps,

I have a new Kitty and as so far I like the result in Octane. But the sclera stays dark.
I've tried to change glossy/diffuse. Rayepsillon is set to 0.
Any ideas?

Greetings Angela

I don't know, out of what groups the eye of the model consists, but on V4 I have nice results with setting the "Eyesurface", which is layered on top over the whole front of the eye, to an opacity of zero (so, kind of ignoring this whole group), and making the Sclera to a Glossy mat. with a good high Specular setting.

This cat has just Cornea, Sclera, Pupil, Iris and Lacrima

I suspect the vertices of the eye are on top of each other - so even the minimum ray epsilon will not work in this case. You need to somehow morph the sclera vertices away from the cornea/pupil - or delete the sclera vertices altogether.

Sorry there is not a better solution.

hi Paul,

I've founded the problem: the Iris was Set to Glossy>Diffuse>Multiply. I've changed it to Diffuse>Diffuse>RGB Image :)
