Hello fellow Octane fanatics,

The new volume objects in C4D and Octane 3 are an amazing addition to an already fantastic plugin. But I am having a bit of trouble effecting them with native C4D tools.

So my question is, how can I cut into a volume object using another object and the boolean tool?
I am using a volume object to create a simple cloud as a the base form for my design and animation. I need to essentially cut out a pie piece to reveal content within.

Is this at all possible? I am able to generate clouds, smoke, without any issues at all, I can clone them, but cant seem to use booleans on them. The only other solution I can think of is animating a vdb container and not sure if this is possible at the moment.

thanks

I'm gonna add some options to paint/fill volumes by xpresso/scripts.
