With the upcoming OSL functionality in Octane Render v3, will there be an OTOY-hosted shader library or is that something that would be handled by a third-party?

Good question, surprised it has not been answered or even discussed!!
We want to wait until OSL is in the beta before we finalize things. Our current thinking is we (and users) could expose ORBX nodes with OSL through LiveDB.

So I went and downloaded some .osl shaders for blender, only checkers worked out of a bunch.. like says error missing this and that.. well, OK waiting for more instructions I guess
