Hey,

I want to share my latest project with you!

It's a full CG Animation of the Titan X (1.0), made for practicing purposes!
I worked on it for the last four months, beside my fulltime job.

It has around 2700 objects and 2 mio. polys and was rendered with Octane v3.
I hope you like it!

Great work! The lighting and texturing are especially nice, like the detailing on the circuit board. The behind-the-scenes writeup is a nice touch too, thanks for sharing!

Great job Bastian! Looking at it I feel like applying waterblocks on many of gpus I've done and on some of them cut the dvi port :)

Texturing, lighting and overall quality are brilliant!
But i miss some dynamics in this movie, and connecting music to the picture.

I watched it and thought - "technically nicelly done". And.... that's it.
If you catch my point ;)
It lacks emotions and movement IMHO.

That's sadly true slepy8 ! BUT... This was my very first attempt to animations. Sure I made some litte ones earlier but I never had a touch with cinematic camera movement or else. As I mentioned this is a private project and I'm happy that you like it. But next time I'll make it different for sure! ;)

Haha! :D Than do it. But I would wait for reviews of the new one coming today (?). Ahh but..., do you know if the 1060,1070,1080 work with Octane now? Maybe that's an option! ;)

Thanks for your honest critics!

Superb work,

I have long considered modelling and rendering a card, theres a weird creation philisophy in there somewhere!

But awesome, perfect.
