Paul,
Could you please add an option to override Modo Physical Sun with exactly the same as in the Standalone Sun Direction via the map as attached? The standalone system is so easy to position the sun and control shadows and lighting (Modo system is not that flexible).
The sun direction map

I'm sorry - but the Modo UI does not allow widgets such as the Octane Standalone sun position system. Instead, you can use the nominated sun direction Direction Light to easily position the Octane sun.

To be precise - I am using Directional Light in the shader tree and Physical Sun. Is there any any other method to drag the sun over the sky?

I'm not sure what you are trying to achieve - so hard to comment. But in general I would have thought that moving the Directional Light would be the easiest option. That is the intended "modo" way of doing it.Is there any any other method to drag the sun over the sky?

In the standalone the sky map is a fantastic tool to quickly set the sun position giving full control of how shadows and lighting look like - changing the point on the map changes longitude and latitude at once, in the entire globe range. In Modo the Physical Sun option is not that flexible - I have to hover over East Longitude and North Latitude channels and change their values separately. Anyway if this is the only way to control sun position I'll live with it.

Paul,
I accidentally deleted the directional light from the item list that is responsible for controlling the sun position. When added a new directional light the Physical Sun does not affect/control Octane sun position. Is there any chance to revert to default settings of the directional light that controls Octane sun?
EDIT: I got it - in the environment material in the shader tree Physically based daylight must be set to the directional light.
