Installed 3.03 2b demon on Slave machine, now it won't retrieve its license. Like me this licensing debacle is getting old...
It's likely that you are using this machine with offline licensing mode. If that is the case and the machine has been offline for some time you'll need to bring the Internet connection up temporary as the licensing information needs to be updated when you update to a newer version, similar to how it used to be before the licensing system change. In order to do so, the server needs to be contacted, so that's likely why you see this message.
If you are still unable to activate your slave please reply providing a screenshot and all information that might be relevant.

Not to my knowledge. Its been running the previous slave for weeks and is always online. Main Octane 3.03 2b app gives the same error when I launch it. How is off-line licensing enabled?

Hi sdanaher,
could you try to go in HD/Users/YourUser/Library/OctaneRender/ and delete the otoy_credentials file?

I seem to have got it working now... not sure why. I have a network protection app running (little snitch) to keep an eye on what comes in and goes out. It was reporting no connection to the server, even if I disabled the filter which was set to ALLOW the connection. I created a rule to allow all connections from octane and deleted references to specific servers. After that it worked, but its not clear why or if Little Snitch was the culprit, I have it running on my other machine too and there is no problem.

I have experienced this prompt also. I am on a PC and find it happens if I start the c4d app too quickly directly after a restart. Not sure if that's what causes it but that's when it's happened.
Hi nehale,
what do you see if you go to your OctaneLive licenses page?
Have you activated the off-line option previously?
Have you tried to sign-out from the latest Standalone v3.03.2?
Which version of c4dOctane are you currently using?
The latest version is here:
