licence v2, v3 alpha, activation

i'm using daz 4.8 and OCDS 3.0.0.6. i have an octane licence for v2.
i was able to use the v3 until recently but it seems its no longer the case.

i cant upgrade my licence to v3 at the moment so my questions are:
+ can i still benefit using the v3 under alpha condition ?
+ should i roll back to v2 ? in which case:
+ will my saved scene still be compatible (from v3 to v2) ?

You can no longer use the Octane 3 alpha - sorry.

If you install the latest 2.25 version of the plugin it will work. I haven't tried loading scenes saved with 3.0 in 2.25, but it should work.

thx Paul,
rolled back to 2.25; no problem so far - v2 seems a lot slower than v3, or resource intensive; even on low priority on the gpu (a gtx titan x) i feel an overall slow down, where as the exact same scene rendered oon med priority with v3.0.0.6 was wayyyyy lighter on the processes. is it normal ? what may clog the process ? (nothing else is runing atm but mozilla)

gtx titan x, 12 go
daz 4.8 pro
nvidia driver: 368.39
octane 2.25.0.16

Octane 3 does not lag the Windows UI like Octane 2.25 does - so what you are seeing is normal.
