it's coming to life! Great.
I had time to move on. I changed one of the ottomans to the sketched coffe table, and completely reworked the rocks in the scene, as I wasn't setisfied with the previous solution. I'm still rendering with daylight environment, but I already know how the final image should look like.
Hope you like this one!

That last render was quite bad I see
It seemd good idea for first to make it, but neither the lighting, nor the kernel setup was good. Not talking about the post work.
I made two other render, these are much better I think.
Please do not hesitate to send your comments and critics! They are always welcome!
(They are raw renders, no post work was made on them.)

Dear all,
I'm posting the final renders for the contest.
I used PMC kernel with 4000 samples. It took around 4 hours on my rig. I rendered 2 regions slightly longer to clear them.
PS was used only on the first two pictures for the footers. No other modification was made (no vignetting, no sharpening, nothing).
I used Octane V3, Sketchup, Blender and Phantom Scatter (per-tri, ray)
Wireframe: Jpg with footer: Final entry, full sized (4K), 16 bit png, vignetting in Octane V3, Agfa Futura II: Preview version, half in size, 8 bit png:

Hi petitsuisse974,
I suggest you to check Tom's website for the contest details if you haven't done it already. You should create an own thread, and you have to post your work in progress and final images there. This is my contest thread, and not a collector thread. Thanks for your understanding!
The final image should be 4K in resolution, which means 4096×2160px. But anyway, you will find everything on Tom's website, and if something is not clear, you might send questions directly to him. You may find the website address in my first post.
Good luck!
