I can confirm the following problem in the windows version.

when i tried to open Octane Render 3.03.1 - R1 render settings (CTRL+B) i get this error, R17

3.02-R2 works well

I think this is first time that you run V3. It makes a copy of vprenderer3.res to vprenderer.res from c4doctane/res directory.
You can fix it by run the C4D as administrator or make it by your self. I think windows avoid to copy it when you have c4d in program files.
I'll change the system for next version.

Hi aoktar, I run V3 since I start with octane in Feb 2016.
I solve the problem in these steps:
1. copy the file "..\res\description\vprenderer3.res"
2. rename the copied file from "vprenderer3.res" to "vprenderer.res"
3. copy the renamed file "vprenderer.res" back to directory "..\res\description\.." and reclace the old file with same name

Now I can access the c4d-octane rendersettings for picture viewer without problems.

Hi Aoktar, thanks for this release updated for work with RealFlow inside C4D.
For me all is working fine, but, can i suggest you to add WetMap shader support for octane materials? Thank you!

Still having issues with alpha pre-multiplication, it just doesn't want to come up as straight when you use the multipasses.

I'll check it again. But had no time for this.

I got the same issue,
open Octane Render 3.03.1 - R1 render settings, get error.
C4D version: R17.048

What's your previous version of plugin? Why this come up on this version?
Did you changed installation path of C4D?
If no, i think you was using wrong vprenderer.res file on previous versions and now error appeared with this version.
Btw i'll fix this for next versions.

i have updated the Standalone and the Plugin to the last Version. But now i cant start Octane in Cinema or in Standalone.
SSO session is expired. (See Attachements)
I have Win 10 and Cinema R17.

In the "Authentication issues" Forum i have nothing found.

I think you need to deactivate with 2.x versions before run V3. It's on older authentication system.
Do it from plugin and SA and try V3. And first check it working by Standalone.

i have reinstalled the V2 SA and Plugin, i have logged in and than i have deacivated. Then i start V3 SA and if i try to log in, the window comes over and over.
I used V3 since its releasd. No problems. But today nothing is working. I have offline activation switched on, maybe this is wrong? But i cant untick this.

Hmm maybe something is different on latest SSO system. You should able to deactivate from license page but you'll loose one ticked from manual deactivation. We can ask to Mojave for this.

Perfect. This is an issue which is out of my control. I'll point the issue to Mojave.
