I have imported a model from Fallout 4, a robot head, and i have "replaced the bodypart with a prop"
that's a function in poser. Obj files i imported to the scene are UVMapped and they work just fine
in poser, but when i try to open octane, it shows me this:
"File "C:\Program Files\Smith Micro\Poser Pro 2014\Runtime\Python\addons\OctaneRender for Poser\SetupForm.py", line 624, in EventInstantRefresh
File "C:\Program Files\Smith Micro\Poser Pro 2014\Runtime\Python\addons\OctaneRender for Poser\UiManager.py", line 5577, in RefreshSetupForm
File "C:\Program Files\Smith Micro\Poser 11\Runtime\Python\addons\OctaneRender for Poser\MaterialManager.py", line 177, in CreateNodesFromPoserScene
File "C:\Program Files\Smith Micro\Poser 11\Runtime\Python\addons\OctaneRender for Poser\MaterialManager.py", line 255, in ConvertMaterial
File "C:\Program Files\Smith Micro\Poser Pro 2014\Runtime\Python\addons\OctaneRender for Poser\UiManager.py", line 3734, in getSavedPoserNodeRoot
poser.error: A material with that name does not exist for this figure"
What should i do ?
Error Octane doesn't want to open viewport

The Poser error at the end of the error report is coming from Poser, not the plugin, so this may be a Poser error. If you send me the prop I will take a closer look.

Hi, I had this same problem last evening but quickly remedied by going to Octane setting / film setting and found the resolution was showing 0 or other odd numbers. It would open the Viewport but not show anything.. and the same type of poser sourced errors reported. Once the resolution was set for the camera, everything worked well again.
not sure if that relates to your issues but sounds close enough?
Cheers
