Blender developers are bad people.
They can tell as: "Blender users: go to hell, we give up developing Blender plugin",
and we will go to hell...
But they are saying nothing, completely ignoring us.
I am willing to wait only very short time, then I will sell Octane v2 licence and buy Thea + Blender licence for 290€.
Can I sell v2 Octane licence, if you have abandoned v3 plugin?
Sorry my English.

Hi (pardon my bad english)

in my bad english :)

1) There is any material example in blender v2 to I can understand the process ?

2) How Can I use OctaneBlender v2 export the programated material (in v3) and export to OctaneRender Standard v3 vía ORBX filter v2 from Octaneblender v2 ?

Thanks

Dear all. We haven't forgotten you. Once we have worked through the onerous difficulties of GPL compatibility, we will give an update on progress. Please bear with us as this is a very difficult process and we are working as fast as possible

Does it mean that every update in the future we will wait half of year longer than all other users or even longer?
Sorry my English.

Come on guys, 3.0 is 30 days old not several months.
I am also not amused about Otoys information politics, slow or no response (bug section) and so forth.
Therefor I don´t buy the plugin until it is ready or at least a test/demo version is published.
I hope, for us 10 Blender for Octane user, the plugin is ready soon. ;)

Cheers, mib
P.S. Would be interesting how much user we really are!

3.0 is 30 days old,
but other Octane users have alpha , beta plugins from last year ....
Modo from 17 Dec 2015, for example ...

We do not know number of blender users, but number of topics on Otoy forum could be clue:

Cinema 2377 topics
Max 1893 topics
Maya 878 topics
Lightwave 794 topics

----------------------
Blender 672 topics
----------------------
Poser 588 topics
Daz 596 topics
Sketchup 389 topics
Modo 363
Rhino 264 topics
Softimage 138
Houdiny 124
Inventor 18 topics
AutoCad 6 topics
Nuke 7 topics

I doubt 10 Blender users would be so active ....

Huge number of Nuke users with 7 topics on Otoy forum have alpha V3 plugin from 28 Dec 2015
Sorry my English.

Is it possible to get access to the c4d or 3dsmax plugin as long as the blender plugin is not ready? Or maybe completely trade-in the blender addon for the c4d or 3dsmax one?

I bought the V3 blender plugin, I didn't see any difference - and because there's no manual, there's no info on how to access the new features, is this a joke ?
Gosh I would rather go with Redshift if only they had a Blender plugin ...

I'm holding off upgrading until there's an actual plugin. Octane technology is amazing, but the customer service has been absolute bunk.
