top, side, front cameras all showing the same perspective /

When I switch from perspective camera to top, side, front, or any of the straight on camera options in the cameras menu, they all give me the same result : a cross section of my model from the side view, like my model has been cut down the middle and shot from the side. The viewport is fine but live viewer shows this cross section angle at all the different perspectives.

Any idea what the problem is?

You mean camera position? When I move the camera position, I get the same result.

yeah I move it back and get the same result. I made a new octane camera and moved it way back, and centered it well away from the object, then I switch to top or front perspective and it still gives cross section and also offsets the object that was centered in the viewport to be off the side of the viewer.

In each case, the appropriate camera is selected in the cameras drop down menu. In each case the viewport shows the correct framing and octane shows the offset cross section.
