So I finally have some free time. And I'm finishing a fake cereals commercial in Octane (for C4D).
It's a short and not so performance hungry project.
But still. To render some of the sequences of that commercial would take at leat 200 hours. 200 hours where I can't use my PC. :x

Soo. What I suggest for now where we aren't able to render in a cloud. I send you my scenes. You render some images for me (just rendering 5, would be huge help). And I return the favour as soon as I have managed to get paid well enough to afford a rig with more than one GPU. I mean. I render overnight. But it still isn't enough. I'd be finishing this spot by christmas with that slow pace.

Here are some more pictures of the project

Hope someone can help.

Can't really help you, I'm dying to get my hands on the cloud myself but I can certainly say that those renders look nice I hope someone can help you.

The long rendering times are imputable to backround, if the animation take action always on the table you could think to create an high resolution hdr of the background with the panorama camera and replace it, in this way you do the calculations of it only the first time

Thanks for the tip.
But the major time consumer is the sss and the displacement on my cereal seen in close-ups.
I'm rendering pathtracing with 3000 samples max, which isn't much. And it already takes 1 h 40 per image.

I'd be totally willing to share my cereal-shader and my modular 2001 room rebuild if someone helps me render some shots
of this spot. As I said. You could render 5 frames for me over night. That'd help me a lot already.
