Hey Paul,

sometimes it is useful to animate an Render Region. In Modo this works very well. Today i noticed, that its not very reliable in Octane. Sometimes the selected Region is shifted or is wrong sized. Is there a solution to this?

Kind regards

Could you pls post a scene which demonstrates this problem, and I will take a look.

Sorry for the late answer. Yes of course! I attached a Modo scene and a screenshot. In Modo the Render Region is animated in Octane it stays static.

Thanks for providing the file. The plugin is reading the Kernel->Use Modo Render Region, and associated Scene->Frame->Region properties at frame 0, so they cannot current be animated. They could be animated, however you would need to specify which properties are read at frame 0, and which at the current frame. For instance, would you want to animate the Kernel->Use Modo Render Region property - or should it always be as per it's setting at frame 0?
