Hello guys!
Is there a way to save materials from the liveDB to the localDB? ..perhaps some drag n drop method?
Best regards
Michael
Save LiveDB Materials to LocalDB

You can use Standalone for that. It's better. Download some materials to nodegraph and add to localdb.

Hi aoktar,
thank you for your reply. I tried doing it the way you describe, but this is not without issues.
The materials in the localDB have no preview thumbnail and work sporadically - meaning
in some C4D scenes I am able to apply the materials to geometry in some scenes I am not...
Do you, by any chance, have an explanation for that?
and..is there no way to batch-download all materials from the liveDB to the localDB?
cheers

In plugin livedb section, you can download multi materials. Then put to localdb.
Or
standalone has support for scripting. Maybe some commands to do similar behaviour. Also when you save materials from SA you should generate mat preview while doing this.
