Hi Nildoe
Did you have problem of going from version 1.9 to version 3? We are still using 1.9 due to 3ds Max crashes if you use newer renderer mostly because of old mix material.

Hey Coilbook..

I haven't had the chance to change yet..finishing an animation and still on 1.9, dont want to mess things up during production :(.

but MOST likely when i do i will choose to redo (ouch) all the necessary material and don't just rely on conversion scripts...especially for things like mix mats
Corei7, 6x GTX1070 (2 Inside and 4 in a CUBIX Xpander), 32GB Ram, Win10 64Bit Home, 3dsMax2017 64Bit, Octane for max 3 and LOVING IT!!!!

MSI GT72S 6QE Dominator Pro G win10Home, gtx 980m.

You need to try open the old scenes at least in plugin 2.23 or 3.17. They have some workarounds implemented to eliminate this as much as possible.

If you have some scene that still crashes in these versions - you can share it with me and I will check what can be done...

I'm sorry, but have you read what I wrote in previous post?..

These mentioned are the plugin versions, not the Octane core versions (please read the version number description placed on the top of each release topic). You are trying to open it in 2.0 version. No surprise it crashes there.
