Hi,

I have some trouble with setting live update efficiently on several objects at once.

for example:

a model with a couple of objects having live update checked ALREADY, and you want to turn on live update for all other too.

If one goes "select all" then the check is greyed out,.. should it not be possible to "uncheck" and re-check for all at once, a behavior that is quite common for setting options on multiple selected entities?

or do I miss some other functionality/command I am not aware of?

thank you,
Daniel

Hi Daniel - you are right - if the selection set of meshes have different Live Update settings, then you cannot set/unset to entire selection set. This is a limitation of the current system, and I will see if it can be solved in a future release.

Hi Paul,

thanks, good to know.

maybe it would be easy to include some command line input like: -OctaneLiveUpdate (all / none / toggle selected)

personally I try to get most stuff done by keyboard, I don't really like too many small check-boxes.
Talking about this, I have been wondering if the Geometry section could be in the rhino properties panel, imho it would fit that better, but maybe I miss some reasons you might have for putting it where it is.

cheers,
Daniel
