Hi,
recently purchased R 3.0 (standalone & plugin c4d), but unfortunately does not work at all here…
Either if trying to use the standalone… No bug report…
It crashed almost immediately (blue screen)… Have to restart computer.
Everything works fine with 2.25…

Config : 6 GPU (tita, tita, black, 980 TI x4), Cluster Amfeltec (http://amfeltec.com/products/gpu-oriented-cluster/), Win7, Nvidia driver 368.39, Nvidia toolkit cud 7.5

Thank for your help

Hi aoktar,
just made several tests…
Whatever the scene, LW works correctly, but as soon as i launch a render, the computer crashes
(either blue screen and have to restart manually, either it restarts alone), and of course no bug reports.

Also tried with cluster disconnected, and everything works fine.
I don’t think to be alone using a cluster with the V3 of octane.

No problem at all with 2.25 (with, or without cluster).

Thanks for your help :)

Hi ggrand,
please, try to disable the "use for tonemap" option in the Devices section to all the GPUs connected to the cluster.

Hi Bepeg,
thanks for your help.
I’ve made 3 tests :
- uncheck « use for tone map «  on the computer
- uncheck « use for tone map «  on the cluster
- uncheck « use for tone map «  on the computer & the cluster

Result : no changes :-(
V3 does not work here… :-(
