I got a Titan Z replacement for a burned down Titan Card. So far so cool (I thought).

But since then I have all kinds of booky woogy going on here witht three Titan cards and one Titan Z. Technically it got displayed as 5 GPUs.
First I got all kinds of driver crashes after finve minutes of rendering with a 999 cuda error. I was lucky and after some research I sorted it out with a BIOS update because for some reasons my six months old Asus board had an old BIos from 2014 installed.

Now the system is stable but one Titan card seems to be dropping out. I took a look at the device manager and the Titan card is recognized there but has a "Code 43" error and is not within the device selection in Octane or Nvidia Control Panel.

It seems there is something wrong. I have a huge power supply so it must be something about the drivers which I updated to the lastest of course.

Any ideas?

Sounds tricky. Have you switched cards into different slots? That could help narrow down whether its the card itself or some kind of BIOS configuration. Resetting my BIOS has solved multi GPU problems for me, but sounds like yours is more complex.

I really can't imagine that after three weeks of RMA one Titan just another one brokes down. They are 2,5 years old and still in warranty for some months. I will remove the Titan Z and see if the other one gets recognized again.
