Hello,
I have just upgraded to Octane version 3 and also purchased the Revit plugin. I have installed both and when opening revit the plugin shows in the Addin tab, When I select it a window pops up and says not activated on this system or something like that. Then the main plugin window opens, but the area to insert my user name and password to be able to activate is greyed out. Can anyone tell me how to get this working?

Octane version 3.01
plugin version Revit 2017 3_0_20_40_win64
My Revit version is 2017

Hello Paul,

Thank you for the response. Can you tell me if I need to uninstall the installed plugin first or install over the existing.

Thanks,
David

Sorry to bother you again, I have installed the latest version "OctaneRender_for_Revit_2017_3_2_0_41_Win64" and have activated it. But when I try to run the Plugin Viewport I get the error as in "An unrecoverable error has occurred. The program will now be terminated. All of your data has been recently saved, so there is no need to create recovery files." When I select OK Revit then closes.

Can you pls provide the info requested at viewtopic.php?f=61&t=42589 (ie. system specs, Nvidia driver version, etc).

Nvidia GTX970 driver 368.39
This Nvidia driver is very buggy - and potentially causing Revit to crash. The most reliable driver is 358.50, and 368.22 seems OK too. Pls see the link in my signature regarding this.

Okay, I uninstalled the Nvidia driver and then installed 368.22 to try and got an error CUDA error 208, which only stopped the plugin working (I can give more info from the screen grab if you need it), I then uninstalled and installed 358.50 and got the same error as original which crashed Revit.
When installing the Nvidia driver, I only select during installation the driver and the physics system software (untick all the others)

I rebooted between all operations
