Does Octane 3 for LW work with OpenCL yet? My GTX 1080 is just collecting dust until it either can be used with OpenCL or the CUDA8 update comes soon.
If it does support OpenCL, I will be upgrading to Octane 3 quickly.
LW3D, Octane 3 and OpenCL?

Any new news on Cuda 8 Octane 3 and 1080 GPU's? Just curious. Looking to buy GPU when it comes down in price to MSRP.

could be good if you posted a beta, so those of us with gtx 1080 can start using octane again. Besides, are you sidestepping interoperability? I can understand why, but it would be a good idea to have a fallback, to support all types of GPUs with cuda support. It is in the SDK for a reason after all
It doesn't have to be fast, just working.

I'm guessing plugin will come within a few weeks or so?juanjgon wrote:The build released today should work in the new Pascal GPUs. It is not optimized yet for this architecture, but at least it works.
Thanks,
