give it a try - mostly materials are automatically translated quite fine to Octane just using the Cinema materials.
also there is a 'convert materials' option in the Octane Plugin menu, though I think that only works with one material at a time.
try it out - this should work in the demo so you get an idea, what will work and what not...

Octane running @ Dell Precision laptop with nVidia quadro/ ada gpu
converter can work with multi materials. But it's limited by some basic conversation. Because material fundamentals are very different. It will not give same results for complex setups and unmatched shader types. Always need some manual adjustment. But you can write a script for better conversation.
