How much faster is the v3 than v2?
I have 3 evga 780 6gb vram SC edition.

Also, any improvements to the light through glass issues?

Hi, I don´t think 3.0 is faster with exact same settings but you have a lot more settings to manipulate for faster render.
It is very hard to add new features to a GPU render engine without slowdown performance.
Compare the features and look if is useful for you, the upgrade fro 2.0 is also not expensive.

Cheers, mib

just like above.
not seeing bigger improvement.
There are just new settings that let you tweak the rendering process to be faster or more lightweight for your VRAM.

Okay. but no one is answering my question regarding light through specular material. I am consistently having problems making glass look real and good, especially with light coming through it. Always noisy and difficult to make it look good.
