Hello,
I have successfully set up a scene where Octane renders spheres, done by using the Octane Object Tag.
Yet, I can't seem to be able to change the material of the spheres. I am applying an Octane material to the xpEmitter. But the color won't change from the default white.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks!

Thank you.
Octane is an incredible render engine.

I didn't find any solution to this from the samples. I see the colored cones, but I would like to be able to see the spheres in editor and in preview window
Please show what you get or can't. Also post your scene and describe what you're trying to get.

I was following this tutorial and the spheres do not accept any textures
https://vimeo.com/124982906
I had to use Octane object tag on the emitter and enable particles>spheres
only see white spheres and no shading
is this method any faster than just using Object Generator and adding the spheres manually with render instances on
not sure if it's octane or x-particles that changed since that tutorial
using X-particles 3.5 and Octane 3.0

I wrote above to check sample scenes: viewtopic.php?f=85&t=53989
Of course this is fastest method for accessing to particle data. May be faster 10-20 times haven't measured. But much faster due elimination of the all extra processes.

great thank you Aoktar
I got everything to look similar except the particle collisions which I probably just need to figure out
