yeah I'm half-kidding hahah but I really want this to work though and I'm pretty sure the issue is with my machine. It's fairly new though, with a Skylake corei7. The thing that bugs me the most is how everything runs so smoothly with the demo plugin and then nothing works with the actual retail. Super odd.
Ok, the problem is solved.
The octane.dat is cause the problem.
The SDK version of this file has a timestamp from 04.06.2014 14:38.
The standalone uses one with a 04.06.2014 04:31 timestamp.
To copping the standalone octane.dat over the addon one, will solve the problem.
Will build a new release, but for a fast fix, you can copy itself.
