Hi all,

Hope this is the place to put this
are there any tutorials for creating materials with Octane?
I am new to the whole node thing as i use C4D and i think they are going to be one of the last to implement a node system

not at this time.
the upcoming beta 2.3 will 'finalize' the structure and base layout of the nodes and will be the first version that will be useable to create materials with for a database.
once that's finished, we will document it and make tutorials.

okey doke , i will continue to fumble for a bit, though if someone would like to give some hints for a nice gold/chrome material i wouldn't say no
