This is the end i hope.
The last plugin with the 1.55 SDK. Maybe a bugfix will follow if needed.
Now its time to update the manual and switch to the 3.x SDK.

Hope all will work as desired,
face

ADDED:
  • PointCloud instance shape support.
FIXED:
  • Critical crash on material creation.

Thanks Peter.
Migrating is a nice thing, but mind, the color attribute isn´t supported in the Octane SDK.
This will first work when the OSL is released, so we can make custom shaders and pass attributes around.
From the 2.x SDK we will have a random grayscale color with which we can drive a gradient shader to get different colors.

Not yet.
I migrate to the 3.0 SDK now. Which is working fine, except from little things i have to fix.
When all is fixed, then i will implement the new things.
